A cover sheet is important because it identifies the intended recipient, the name of the sender and pertinent details about the reason for the fax.       Locate the "Templates" option, which you can usually find by clicking "New Document" and then choosing the "Templates" option that appears.

      Click the "Templates" option and choose "Fax Templates." A window will open offering you a variety from which to choose.

      Choose a template. Once it opens in a new window begin filling it out. Make sure you identify yourself, the intended recipient, the purpose of the fax and the number of pages in the information you are sending. You may also want to include the time and date.
