You don't have to physically scroll through a webpage to find what you need.

If you are tired of manually trying to find specific words on a webpage, you should know that you don't have to physically scroll through the content to find what you need. Instead you can use your web browser's find tool to locate the specific words that you need. A bar will appear at the top or bottom of your browser, allowing you to customize your find options.

      Open the webpage you want to search.

      Press "Ctrl+F" in your web browser. You can also select "Edit" and "Find on this Page" (in Internet Explorer 8); "Edit" and "Find" (in Firefox); "Edit," "Find" and "Find" (in Safari); or the "Find" icon (in Opera). A search bar will open at the bottom of the window in Firefox, or at the top of your window in Internet Explorer, Safari and Opera.

      Type the word you want to find into the text box. In IE, you can specify your find option by clicking on "Options" and selecting "Match whole word only" and/or "Match case." In Firefox, you can check-mark "Match case" and choose "Highlight all" for that option. In Opera, you can check-mark "Match case" or "Match whole word only."

      Click "Next" or press "Enter" to advance through the matching results on your webpage.
