You don't even need to use special software or mess with the sound settings on your computer to capture the audio from your YouTube videos.

      Log in to YouTube and click on the video whose audio you want to capture. Click on the "Share" button below the video player to get the URL of the video to appear in a text box. Right click on the URL and select "Copy".

      Point your web browser to a free video-to-audio capture site such as VidtoMP3.com, Vixy.net or "MediaConverter.com". Click on the button on the site that says "Enter a link", or paste the URL of the video into the appropriate text box. Click on the "OK" or "Download" button and wait for the website to capture the audio.

      Click on the "Download MP3" link to save the audio file to your computer.
