How to Join the Job Core
For young adults looking for job preparation and mentoring alternatives to college, the Job Corps can provide education and training assistance to help students transition into the workforce. The Job Corps is managed through the United States Department of Labor to give vocational training and academic support to individuals between the ages of 16 and 24. On-site training is provided through a local Job Corps facility where students reside temporarily while receiving instruction on various job skills and gathering insight on how to be a productive member of a workforce.
