How to Apply DS Lite Screen Protectors
Nintendo has designed the two screens on the DS Lite---upper view screen and bottom touch screen---to be durable, but dust, dirt, fingerprints and skin oil can accumulate on the screens and accidental scratches often occur. Protect your Nintendo DS Lite screens with screen protectors tested, approved and licensed by Nintendo for use with the Nintendo DS Lite. Applying a licensed Nintendo screen protector takes only a few minutes of your time and can save you the headache and cost of screen repair or replacement.
Instructions

1
Wash your hands with soap and water to remove dirt and oils. Rinse your hands thoroughly and dry with a lint-free cloth.
-
2
Remove the screen protectors and microfiber cloth from you Nintendo DS Lite screen-protector kit.
-
-
3
Wipe the screen on your console with the microfiber cloth to remove dust, debris, oil and fingerprints.
-
4
Pick up a screen protector, grasp a tab on one side of the protector attached to the outer film---applied on both sides when manufactured to stop dust and dirt from accumulating on the protector during shipment---and pull it to separate the film from the protector.
-
5
Align the screen protector with the side that no longer has film on it facing down above a screen. Lower the short side of the protector edge to edge with the short side of the screen and then smooth the screen slowly across the screen from one side to the other.
-
6
Rub over the screen with the microfiber cloth and check for air bubbles. If you see bubbles, grasp the tab attached to the piece of film that you haven't removed yet and lift it up to pull it and the protector from the screen. Lower the protector and film again across the screen and smooth out the bubbles.
-
7
Grasp the tab again and pull up to lift it and a corner of the protector from the screen. Separate the film and the protector and then pull the film carefully from the protector. When finished, smooth the corner of the protector back across the screen.
-
8
Repeat the process with your other Nintendo DS Lite screen and screen protector.

Tips & Warnings
Never use an unlicensed screen protector. A protector not licensed by Nintendo may have design issues that may darken the screen making it difficult to see your games or make the touch screen difficult to use. Additionally, unlicensed protectors may cause screen damage.
Nintendo doesn't warranty damage caused by unlicensed Nintendo DS Lite screen protectors.
