How to Recycle Oce Toner
Full toner bottles contain hazardous chemical waste, but empty bottles can be recycled in a number of ways, since the dangerous chemicals have been used. Although many companies that manufacture toner offer easy mail-back programs, Oce is not among them. You can return the toner to Oce for recycling, but several other methods allow for easier recycling with less environmental impact.

1
Place the empty toner bottle in with your plastic recycling if your community offers a plastics-recycling program. Oce recommends this as the most environmentally friendly option, because the least amount of fuel goes into recycling this way.
-
2
Check with office-supply stores in your community to see whether they offer toner-bottle recycling. Recycle your toner bottle in the store.

Return your toner to Oce to be recycled. Contact the Oce office in your country to ask for the proper procedures for returning empty toner bottles to Oce for recycling. Determine whether there is a fee for this method (see Resources). Then recycle the Oce bottle following the instructions given.

4
Mail your toner to a toner mail-in recycle program. Earth911 offers an extensive list of toner-bottle mail-in programs that will help you keep your toner out of a landfill (see Resources).
