How to Become a Christian Motivational Speaker
The Lord has changed your life and filled you with love for yourself and your fellow man. The urge to share this change has grown inside of you, so you stand up in church one Sunday to tell everyone about your blessings. A few weeks later, you hear a calling to change the lives of people who face the challenges you overcame. This urge will interfere with your secular job. But, there is a way to follow your calling, help people in need and become a Christian motivational speaker.

1
Choose your subject and target audience. Determine who you want to help. Study your Bible and find 20-30 passages that address the obstacles that your target audience must overcome. Write down these obstacles and Bible passages.
-
2
Study your lists and write a 15- to 20-minute script that addresses each point. Do not dwell on a particular point. Stay on target while touching briefly on each point you wish to make. Put your speech away for one week. Then, edit and streamline the speech.
-
-
3
Practice your speech alone. Listen for awkward sections. Smooth out the rough spots. Practice in front of friends, family and congregation members.
-
4
Arrange a meeting at your church to deliver your speech to interested congregation members. Arrive at your church 30 minutes early to prepare the area and yourself for your speech. Hand out business cards after the speech. Visit other churches and arrange for time and space to spread your message.
-
5
Remember to hand out cards after every speech. Be sure to have, and to maintain, reliable transportation. Keep your phone close at hand at all times to take calls from interested parties. Arrive at every speech and meeting ahead of time. Always be prepared. Write a new speech each month to keep your message fresh.
