Sketch your recycle logo on a plain sheet of paper using a pencil. Draw the logo large enough make even the smallest detail easily visible. Remember that the simpler your logo is, the easier it will be to reproduce. Outline the pencil sketch with a black pen, and color in your recycle logo using colored pencils or markers.

    • 3

Scan the logo into a design or photo editing program. Crop the image using the crop tool, which can be located at the top or side toolbar menu of the program. Get as close to the edges as possible, to remove empty space around the logo.

Place a filter on the recycle logo image. Select "Filters" or "Effects," then "Filters" in the toolbar at the top of the screen. Choose a filter that will add an artistic look to the logo. Adding a filter to the image will also make it look like a graphic, instead of a plain sketch.
