Your iPod Touch doesn't have a camera, but it is capable of storing and sharing photos. Transfer photos from your PC to your iPod Touch with iTunes. The program enables you to sync photos from your PC to your iPod Pod Touch just as you would sync music, videos and applications. Sync photos with your iPod Touch if you want to customize your device's wallpaper or add pictures to contact information.

Instructions

      Open iTunes.

      Connect your iPod Touch to your PC with the iPod cable that came with the device. Plug the USB end into a USB port on the PC. Insert the other side into your iPod.

      Cancel any automatic syncing that iTunes tries to carry out by sliding the "Cancel" bar on your iPod Touch screen.

      Click on your iPod in the devices section of the iTunes source list at the left of the program window.

      Select the "Photos" tab in the iTunes browser window.

      Select the check box by "Sync photos from." Click the drop-down arrow next to it.

      Select "Choose Folder." Browse for the folder containing the photos you want to transfer. Click "OK."

      Click the "Apply" button at the bottom of the page to start syncing the photos to your iPod Touch.

Tips & Warnings

  • After the sync, you can find the pictures in the "Photos" application of your iPod Touch.
