How to Make a White Mouse Baby Stuffed Animal
Handmade stuffed toys make a one-of-a-kind gift for animal lovers. A white mouse stuffed animal is simple to create and uses inexpensive materials that can be found at most art and hobby stores. The project works best with a sewing machine and basic sewing skills, craftsmen can substitute sewing steps with a hot glue gun, but it will not be as durable. Stuffed animals can be personalized as desired with decorative ribbon and cute details.

- Paper
- 2 sheets of white felt
- Marker
- Straight pins
- Sewing machine
- Chopstick or pencil
- Scissors
- Needle and thread
- Felt or ribbon (optional)

Draw the shape of the mouse you want to create on a sheet of paper or print a picture of a mouse to use as a guide. Ensure the drawing is the desired size for the stuffed animal.

Trace design onto a piece of white felt, using a marker to trace thick lines. Position the felt over a second sheet of white felt; pin together. Use a sewing machine to sew along drawn lines. Leave a one-inch hole near the bottom of mouse doll. Cut away excess material along seams.

Turn mouse doll inside out, using a chopstick or pencil to push out any corners. Fill doll with cotton batting. Be sure to fully stuff mouse to ensure it keeps it shape. Sew the opening closed with a sewing machine or a needle and thread after completely stuffing the doll.

Add any decorative pieces to the outside of mouse doll, such as pieces of felt or buttons for the eyes. Stitch whiskers and a nose on the face of stuffed animal. Personalize further by stitching on the name of the person receiving gift, or adding a favorite color ribbon around the mouse.
