How to Uninstall the Windows Defender in Windows 7
Windows Defender comes installed with Vista and Windows 7. It is your computer's defense system against spyware. While it is not recommended to uninstall Windows Defender, it can be done. You should only uninstall the program if you prefer to run a different spyware program.

Click on "Start," choose "Search," type in "services.msc" and hit "Enter."

Scroll down the list to Windows Defender. Right-click on the name and select "Properties."
