How to Draw a Spartan Helmet
Learning to draw starts by drawing basic shapes and outlines and then moving on to drawing simple objects such as fruits, tables and buildings. After some practice, you can try your hand at drawing whatever you can think of. You can even learn how to draw a Spartan helmet profile like from the movie "300." Drawing a Spartan helmet may sound like a difficult task, but it's actually a fairly basic shape.

1
Draw a 6-inch line at a 45-degree angle on a sheet of blank drawing paper to begin the helmet, which will end up with the face of the helmet facing toward the left of the page. Use a pencil to easily correct mistakes.
-
2
Draw a second line at a 45 degree angle, parallel to the first. This line will be about half the length of the first, from the bottom of the first up.
-
-
3
Connect the two lines with a small angled line at the bottom.
-
4
From the top of the second, shorter angled line, draw a straight, horizontal line away from the two parallel lines. This line should be about 3 inches long.
-
5
Draw a 45-degree angle line from the end of the horizontal line, down about an inch.
-
6
Draw a 2 3/4-inch horizontal line, starting at the end of the 1 inch line you just drew, going back toward the left of the drawing.
-
7
Draw a 4-inch line at a 30 degree angle down from the end of the second horizontal line. You now have the face plate shape of the helmet.
-
8
Draw a 4-inch horizontal line from the bottom of the 30-degree angled line to the right, away from the faceplate.
-
9
Draw a large, half circle connecting the topmost edge of the first line you drew, and the rightmost edge of this last line you drew.
