Instructions

    • 1

Start by unplugging your Frigidaire washing machine from the electrical socket. Use a different device that you know works to test the outlet to make sure that it is working properly.

    • 2

Turn off the water supply to the washing machine. Use a pair of channel locks to unscrew the water supply hoses on the washer. Use a flashlight to make sure that there are no clogs in the water supply hoses. Shine the flashlight into the hose and look for any gunk or debris stuck inside. Clear them out if there is debris.

    • 3

Use a screwdriver to remove the screws holding the back panel on the Frigidaire washing machine. Look for the washer's pump. This is on the lower right side of the washer's inside cabinet. Use a Phillips screwdriver to take the cover off of the pump. Examine the pump for any blockage and remove the blockage, if needed.

    • 4

Use your hands to unscrew the small rubber hoses that connect to the washer's pump. Look at the inside of the hoses for any debris or gunk that may be blocking them.

    • 5

Look over the washer's belt attached to the bottom of the washer's basket. The washer belt connects to the bottom of the washer's basket and to the motor pulley. If the washer's belt has fallen off, place it back on the washer's basket or on the motor pulley. Replace the washer belt if needed.

    • 6

Remove the air tubes on the washer. Look over the air tubes for any cracks, replacing them if needed.

    • 7

Check the agitator inside the washer's basket. Use a screwdriver to remove the agitator cap from the agitator. Remove the screw holding the agitator in place and then turn the agitator counter-clockwise to remove it from the washer's basket. Look it over for any damage, and replacing it if necessary.
