Instructions

    • 1

Remove the item that was secured to the wall with the industrial double-sided tape. This will reveal the tape, making removal easier.

    • 2

Plug your hair dryer into an electrical outlet and set it on a medium setting. Move the hair dryer back and forth above the industrial double-sided tape to soften the adhesive.

    • 3

Hold a piece of fishing line between your hands as tight as possible. Slide the fishing line underneath the industrial double-sided tape and wall. Stay as close to the wall as possible. The fishing line is used as a knife to cut the tape away from the wall.

    • 4

Repeat steps 2 and 3 several times until you have removed as much of the double-sided tape as possible.

    • 5

Apply water-displacing spray to a soft cloth. Gently scrub the wall with the cloth. The water-displacing spray will remove the sticky residue left behind by the tape.
