Request a copy of the marriage certificate from the Recorder's Office to file in your home state. This request should be in writing. If you know the marriage certificate number, include the number on the written request. Include the bride and groom's full legal names, address, and social security numbers, as well as a photocopy of personal identification for both individuals, such as a valid state driver's license or passport. Provide a check, payable to the Clark County Clerk, for $7.00 for each copy of the marriage certificate requested. Note that it may take up to two weeks for a request to be processed.
