How to Reinstall uTorrent
The program uTorrent allows you to download and use torrent files to get movies, songs and other media files from other users. Sometimes the program can become unstable or corrupted, and it may stop working properly. Reinstalling the program in these cases can often correct the errors and restore uTorrent's function to normal. You can uninstall and reinstall the software by using the native controls in the Windows operating system.

Click "Start" in Windows and select the "Control Panel" option.

Double-click the "Add/Remove programs" icon. A new window appears.

Scroll down the list of programs in the new window until you see "uTorrent." Click the "Change/Remove" button underneath. Click "Next" through each screen of the process to uninstall uTorrent until it's removed from your computer.

Download the uTorrent installation file (see Resources). Open the file and click "Next" through each section of the installation process until the program installs. You'll now have a clean copy of the software.
