How to Wash Musty Clothes With Vinegar & Laundry Detergent

Things You'll Need

• 1 cup vinegar
• 1 cup detergent

Instructions

1. Place the musty clothing in the washing machine.

2. Turn the washing machine to the hottest water setting.

3. Add 1 cup of vinegar.

4. Turn the laundry machine on. Once the washing machines reaches the rinse cycle, add 1 cup of detergent.

5. Place the clothing in the dryer after the cycle finishes. This will prevent the clothes from sitting in wet and humid conditions, which can make them musty again.
