How to Use an iPhone on Skype With Video
Not only can you make and receive phone calls, browse the Internet, play games, watch video and text-message with your iPhone, but you can also use Skype on your iPhone, as well. Skype is an online program that allows you to talk with someone face-to-face over the Internet. You can now also use the Skype app on your iPhone to talk with other Skype/iPhone friends. Just by downloaded the app, you can connect to your friends in a whole new way.

Download the Skype app using your iPhone. You can get the app by going to the Skype home page and clicking on "Get Skype > On Your Mobile." Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and click on "iPhone" under On Your Mobile. Select "Get It Now" under App for iPhone and iPod Touch.

Click on the Skype app when it's done downloading. Fill out the required information to log on--this may be your name, email address and a new Skype password.

Stay connected to the app. Do not log out or close out of the Skype app--although you can "minimize" the app. If you close out of Skype completely, you will not receive any incoming video calls.

View your contacts. You'll be able to see all of your contacts who are connected to Skype and you'll be able to video chat with them.

Click on the name of the contacts connected to Skype that you want to video chat with. When they answer, you'll be able to see and hear them through your phone's screen and they'll be able to see and hear you.
