How to Retrieve an SD Card

A PC is required to retreieve your deleted information.

If you accidentally delete your images off an SD card, you can retrieve them through the computer program, Undelete Plus. Undelete Plus scans your SD card for recently deleted files and will retrieve them. You will need a computer with an SD card. It usually only takes a few minutes for Undelete Plus to retrieve deleted files, but it will take much longer if you are trying to retrieve 1GB or more of data.

Instructions

1. Pop the SD card into the computer's SD slot.

2. Open Undelete Plus.

3. Open the SD card. Go to "My Computer," then double click on the SD-card drive. Files that were previously deleted will be displayed.

4. Click on the files you want to retrieve and click "Start Undelete." The program will convert the files to the SD drive.

Tips & Warnings

• Keep the card in a case to protect it from the elements.

• Do not pull the SD card out of the computer while a scan is in progress. This will corrupt the files saved on the card.
