How to Enable Apple Talk
AppleTalk is a Mac network protocol that lets you connect to corporate or home networks as well as the Internet. The interface is similar to the Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) protocol and it also lets you share files with other users on a network. You must manually enable AppleTalk before using it. The protocol overrides other Internet protocols and also lets you access printers, including network printers, that use the AppleTalk connection. You can disable AppleTalk if you need to use another protocol.
