Instructions

    • 1

Check your house for ant trails. Make a note of areas of the house where ants frequently go, such as through a crack in a door or near a certain area of the kitchen.

    • 2

Remove the baits from the plastic frame.

    • 3

Place a bait next to each ant trail you identified. If you have trouble identifying ant trails, set a bait near places where ants may congregate. These areas often include trash cans and potted plants.

    • 4

Maintain food safety by placing baits away from food preparation surfaces. Baits should also be placed away from kitchen utensils used to prepare food.

    • 5

Avoid spraying bug control spray in the same areas where you placed baits, as recommended by Raid. This may lessen the efficacy of the bait traps, as the ants may be unable to access them.

    • 6

Monitor each bait trap every few weeks. Raid recommends replacing each bait at least every three months. If you notice that ants do not seem to be entering the station as often, replace the bait. This may indicate that the bait is nearly consumed.
