How to Test a PC's Internet Speed
There are various Web sites that will test your Internet connection speed. These tests will download and upload a small file to and from your computer to determine your respective download and upload speeds. Depending on the location of the test server and active programs running on your computer while you take the test, a speed test will only give you a general idea of your connection speeds. The latest version of Adobe Flash is required to run most speed tests.
