How to Send Money Online With an ACH Transfer
Before the Internet became popular, money transfers were usually done one of two ways--by bank wire or by a money transfer service such as Western Union. Now that Web usage has grown, there are quite a few different websites that allow you to send money online. You can transfer funds from your bank account and send money electronically to the recipient of your choice. When that person receives your money, he can transfer it to his bank account using the ACH (Automated Clearing House).
