Instructions

Soak a cotton ball in rubbing alcohol.

    • 2

Fill a cup with 1 tbsp. vegetable oil and 1 cup water.

    • 3

Place your pet in the bathtub or a similar confined area, and place white paper underneath the pet.

    • 4

Rub petroleum jelly over the teeth of the flea comb, and begin combing your pet. The petroleum jelly will capture loose fleas, and fleas that drop will become visible when they drop onto the white paper.

Drop the fleas into the cup of water and vegetable oil and blot the fleas you see on the pet's fur with the cotton ball soaked in the rubbing alcohol. Continue until you comb the entire pet.
