How to Use Outlook 2007 With Hotmail

Outlook Connector creates additional folders in Outlook.

One of the easiest ways to configure your Windows Live Hotmail account in Outlook 2007 is by using Outlook Hotmail Connector. The application, which only works with Hotmail accounts, can help you save a lot of time in configuring Outlook 2007 automatically. In addition, you can minimize setup errors by using the application. Another advantage of using the application is that it allows you to manage your Windows Live Hotmail contacts without you needing to sign in to your Web-based account.

Instructions

1. Download Outlook Connector by going to the "Outlook Hotmail Connector 32-bit" page (see "Resources") and then clicking "Download." If the download process does not start automatically, click on the "Start download" link.

2. Double-click on the downloaded file and then follow the prompts to install the application.

3. Open Outlook 2007. When Outlook Connector prompts you to enter your Hotmail credentials, type them in the fields provided and then click "OK." You can now use Outlook 2007 with your Windows Live Hotmail account.
