How to Add Google Search to My Web
Google has created a website that allows users to create a customized Google search engine. Once you have created a search engine, Google provides you with the HTML code you will need to embed the search engine into your own Web page. This allows your users to search for content within your website without also pulling up search results from the millions of other websites available.

Visit the "Google Custom Search" website.

Click the "Create a Custom Search Engine" button.

Type a name for your search engine in the "Name" field.

Type a description for the search engine in the "Description" field. You may leave this box blank if you'd like.

Type the full URL address of your website in the "Sites to search" field. For example, you might type "http://www.mywebsite.com."

Click the "Standard edition" radio button.

Check the box next to "I have read and agree to the Terms of Service" and click "Next."

Click the style in which you want search results to appear by clicking the appropriate image when the next page opens. Click "Next." A new page will open.

Click inside the "Custom Search element code" box and select "Ctrl" and "C" to copy the code.

Log in to your Web server and select "Ctrl" and "V" to paste the code. Click "Publish" to publish the page. You have now added Google search to your Web page.
