How to Sell Photos on Free Websites
The very first stock photo libraries were first set up early in the twentieth century. The ways that photographers receive payment for their photos has changed over the years, and our entry into the Information Age has brought about another change. Digital photography and the Internet has democratized the stock photo library concept. It is now possible for anyone to sell their own photos online on websites that don't charge a commission.

Sign up for a free dotPhoto account. This will serve as both a personal account that can be used to buy from other dotPhoto users as well as a reseller account that can be used to sell photos to online buyers. Log in to dotPhoto.com and create a custom product and price list. Select exactly what to sell and set prices for the items. Set up and verify payment information and address, then upload photos to begin selling.

Sign up for a free iStockPhotos account and apply to be a contributor. Make sure to select "Photos" as the contribution method. Read the iStockPhotos manual and complete a short quiz on how the site operates. Submit 3 good photography samples and wait for iStock contribution approval, then begin uploading photos to sell.

Go to Crestock.com and click on the "Start Selling" button at the bottom of the main page. Fill out the short form and click the "Open A Free Account" to have the account instantly activated. Log in to Crestock.com and begin uploading photos.
