Rexair Rainbow Vacuum Cleaner Troubleshooting

Rexair manufactures the water-based filter vacuum cleaner called the Rainbow. Rainbow vacuum cleaners get rid of air-carried dust with a special filter that uses water to clean the air. The Rainbow uses water to keep the dirt wet so it can’t become airborne, much like a water truck at road works. Issues that can arise with Rexair’s Rainbow vacuum cleaners include problems with air flow, the vacuum not running at all and musty odors. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Clean the filter if air flow is an issue. Press the two latches that hold the back panel upwards, remove the HEPA neutralizer filter and clean it. Simply rinse the filter through the hole. You can do this in the sink with the kitchen faucet. Allow water to fill the neutralizer, then drain it by inverting it. Rinse a couple of times until the draining water runs clear.

    • 2

Plug the Rexair Rainbow vacuum cleaner into the power supply firmly if the Rainbow won’t run. Make sure that there’s power to the outlet. Check the household fuse or circuit breaker panel for any blown fuses or tripped breakers. Alternatively, try a different power receptacle in the home.

    • 3

Wash the water basin if the vacuum starts to smell musty. Loosen the nut with a wrench and rinse the separator part. Remove the bowl and clean it under the faucet. Replace the bowl and hand-tighten the nut.

    • 4

Add clean water to the bowl if dust becomes airborne.

    • 5

Attach the correct tool for the job if the Rainbow is not working well. Use the duster brush on drapes, the upholstery tool for furniture and the crevice tool for narrow openings.
