How to Put Audio Books Into iTunes

Audiobooks are exactly what the name implies, books that have been recorded, typically on CD. Adding an audiobook to iTunes can fill up your music library with various tracks from a single book. Compressing an audio book into a single file with multiple tracks is a convenient way to listen to and audiobook without having to manage a bunch of files. An audiobook can be compressed whenever it is being imported into iTunes with a few simple steps.

Things You'll Need

• Audiobook CD
• ITunes

Instructions

1. Open iTunes on your computer. Insert the audiobook CD into the computer's disc drive. When the disc appears on the side menu, select it. Close any dialog boxes that may appear.

2. Highlight all of the CD's tracks. Under the "Advanced" menu select "Join CD Tracks..

3. Select the "Submit CD Track Names" from the Advanced menu. Fill in the information in the pop-up dialog box with the audiobooks information. Click "OK."

4. Select "Import" CD.
