Tips & Warnings
In PowerPoint 2007, users may choose to send the PowerPoint as a .PDF. This is a wise choice, because some users may not have a PowerPoint viewer. Most users, both PC and Mac, have a PDF viewer that will allow them to view the presentation when sent as a .PDF file.
When sending as a .PPS, ensure the recipient will not be making changes to the file. .PPS format is used for viewing only.
When sending PowerPoint files as a .PPT format, ensure that the recipient of the e-mail has the PowerPoint software. If not, they may not be able to open your attachment.
