How to Share iPhoto Pictures
Instead of sitting down and taking the time to burn photos to individual disks for family and friends, iPhoto, a photo editing and sharing application that comes standard on Mac computers, allows you to share your photos with your friends and family online. With just a few clicks of your mouse, you can upload pictures to Facebook, Flickr or MoblieMe. You can also easily share photos e-mail.

Highlight the pictures you want to share by either selecting an entire event or by clicking on one or multiple photos while holding down the "Command" key.

Click on the appropriate icon in the bottom right of the iPhoto window for the method by which you will share your photos. Your choices are e-mail, MobileMe, Facebook and Flickr.

Sign into your existing account through iPhoto. For example, if you use Facebook or Flickr, iPhoto will require you to link to these accounts so you can edit your online albums without leaving iPhoto in the future.

Specify the privacy settings and photo size at the prompts. You may be prompted to choose whether or not to export the photo captions, titles and tags along with the photos.

Click "Publish" to upload the photos directly to the site. When the upload is complete, the album will be listed in the navigation menu on the right. Click the album to edit the photos directly from iPhoto.

E-mail photos by selecting "Compose" rather than "Publish." An e-mail message window will open with the pictures already attached. Type in the recipients, the subject and a message and click "Send."
