The Fujitsu Fi4120c scanner requires a USB cable to install.

Scanners, like the Fujitsu Fi-4120c, enable you to make copies of original documents and store them on your computer. The Fi-4120c can also scan photographs in black and white or full color for you to create digital photo albums or preserve an electronic copy of an image. Scanners are installed in a similar way as printers and, once installed, you can share electronic copies of your stored photographs and documents via email or on social websites.

      Connect the scanner to your computer with the USB cable supplied and turn on the scanner. When the display reads "1" the scanner is ready.

      Locate the "Found New Hardware" wizard in Windows. Click the "Install from List or Specific Location" check box and click "Next." Select "Search for a Suitable Driver for My Device" and click "Next."

      Insert the Fujitsu Fi-4120c CD-ROM into the computers CD-ROM drive. Select "Search for the Best Driver in these Locations" and click the "Include this Location in the Search" check box. Click the arrow next to the search box and select "D:\Driver2" then click "Next." After the setup files have been copied to your computer click "Finish."

      Reboot your computer; the TWAIN data source setup screen will be displayed. This software allows the scanner and image software to operate simultaneously. Select your language from the drop down menu and click "OK." Choose the installation directory and click "Next."

      Open Windows Explorer and right click the CD-ROM drive and select "Explore." Double click on the "ScandAll 21" folder then double click the "ScandAll 21.exe" file to begin the image software installation.

      Select your language from the drop down menu, click "OK" then "Next." Click "Yes" to agree to the license agreement then click "Next" and "Finish."
