How to Find Famous People on Twitter

Twitter is the best way to communicate with celebrities. The social network site has many verified pages of celebrities who tweet about their daily activities and often reply to fans. Actors, athletes, musicians and artists are found throughout the millions of users on Twitter. There are a variety of ways to find your favorite actors on the social networking site.

Instructions

1. Log into Twitter and use the “Find People” option on the main search bar to find your favorite celebrity. Type his or her name into the search bar and select “Search.” Peruse the options and select the verified account if available.

2. Visit your favorite celebrity’s MySpace, Facebook or official website. Often times celebrities link these websites to their Twitter account or list their usernames.

3. Conduct a quick Internet search. Type your favorite celebrity’s name and Twitter into the search box. If there is an official Twitter page, it will be listed at the top of the search.

4. Read articles from celebrity blogs. If the quote comes from Twitter, many times the blogs will list the Twitter name or link to the exact Tweet.

Tips & Warnings

• Use caution when tweeting with celebrities, if the account is not verified it is possible that it is an imposter. However, not every celebrity account is verified either.
