How to Make a New Windows Live Messenger Account

To access Windows Live Messenger, you must have an email account attached to Windows Live. This email address can be an already existing one or you can create an MSN email address--Hotmail or Windows Live. If you choose to use an already existing email address, you may not be able to access Windows Live Messenger features such as video and audio chat. Creating a Windows Live account will allow you to log in to Windows Live Messenger and instant message any of your contacts.
