Tips & Warnings

  • Wipe up spills and water immediately, as porous linoleum can absorb liquids, causing stains.

  • Follow the linoleum flooring manufacturer's suggestions for applying floor wax or polish on a regular basis to maintain a subtle shine while protecting your flooring.

  • Some linoleum, as it ages, can turn yellow from lack of exposure to sunlight. Moving your furniture and appliances around periodically can prevent yellowing.

  • Linoleum is a natural product and therefore is susceptible to damage if you use harsh cleaners. Mrs. Clean USA recommends natural cleaning products to keep your linoleum looking like new.
