How to Delete Yahoo Toolbar History

The Yahoo! Toolbar is a handy add-on feature that allows you to conveniently access Yahoo!'s search engine from any website. The toolbar's default setting stores your search information to save you time in the future. You can delete Yahoo!'s Toolbar history and clear all of your past search queries. You can also disable the feature so it doesn't store future searches.

Instructions

Delete Toolbar History

1. Open the Web browser containing your Yahoo! Toolbar.

2. Open the Settings menu by clicking the small pencil icon next to the Yahoo! Toolbar search field.

3. Select "Toolbar Options" from the menu that appears. Then, click the "Clear Recent Searches" button.

Disable Saving History

1. Open the Settings menu by clicking the small pencil icon next to the Yahoo! Toolbar search field.

2. Select "Toolbar Options" from the drop down menu that appears.

3. Deselect the check box next to "Include my recent searches with suggestions" by clicking in the check box. The green check mark inside the box will disappear.

4. Click the "OK" button to save your changes and exit.
