Instructions

    • 1

Remove bedding, curtains and clothing infected with bedbugs.

    • 2

Place items in the wash. Use hot water and liquid detergent soap. The hot water and soap will kill the bugs on contact.

    • 3

Place furniture and mattresses infected with bedbugs outside if you live in a cold climate and the temperature is colder than 25 degrees Fahrenheit. Place the items in the cold for several hours. The cold temperature also kills bedbugs. If you do not live in a cold climate, apply hot water and liquid detergent soap to the mattress and furniture to kill the bugs.

Tips & Warnings

  • If clothing, mattresses or furniture are badly infested with bedbugs and you can't get rid of them using hot water or extreme cold temperatures, you may need to discard. Bedbugs may work their way into the deep fibers of mattresses and clothing, making it very difficult to get rid of them.
