Deleting the summary account on your T-mobile phone will free up space on your device as well as prevent lag time between sending and receiving electronic transmissions such as emails, text and multimedia messages. The summary account is the saved data from all messages, calls, Internet browsing and emails. Removing this data is easy and is retrievable by synchronizing your phone to a computer.

Instructions

1. Locate the "Settings" icon on your phone's home screen.

2. Click "Options" followed by "Security Option." The wording could be different, depending upon the model of your phone.

3. Select "Memory Cleaning" and click "Enable." Scroll through the menu list and click "Clear Cache" to remove the summary account on your phone. Additionally, you can select the items that you want to clean, such as messages, call log and Internet browsing passwords and data by checking the appropriate box.

4. Confirm your choice by clicking "Save." Return to the home screen on your phone.

5. Locate and click the "Memory Cleaning" icon. Select "Clean Now" from the menu.

6. Click the "Enter" key to begin the cleaning process.
