A businessman friend of mine, who speeds wherever he drives throughout the country, always keeps a bottle of water in his car and when pulled over, pours the water on the seat, and tells the officer that he was rushing to make it to the nearest public restroom. So far, it has worked every one of the five times he's used it.

I've had two speeding tickets over the years. One for passing a farm tractor and went 6 miles over the 35mph limit to get around it quickly. And one for going 52 in a 45, but the sign had been removed for lane widening. I could have won both had I read this years ago.
