How to Access a Mini SD Card
To keep up with the ever-changing needs of consumers, SanDisk, the maker of SD cards, has created different sizes of SD memory cards. According to the SD Association, the miniSD was developed due to ongoing demand for smaller cell phones. It is 37 percent smaller than the standard SD card that fits into a computer, but you can still access all of the files using a miniSD adapter. The adapter is the same size as the standard SD card, and the miniSD fits inside it.
