How to Make a LEGO TV
Created in Denmark by Ole Kirk Kristiansen in the 1930's and still popular today all around the world, Legos--which come from the Danish words "leg godt," or "play well--are a timeless toy whose success can be traced to the millions of imaginative building projects they inspire. Creating a Lego television, for instance, truly allows the maker to construct according to her whims, creating one as big or as small as desired.

Things You'll Need
- Six 1-inch square pieces in brown or black
- Four 1-inch square pieces in bright blue
- Two 1-inch long and one-half-inch-wide pieces in brown or black

Place your three 1-inch pieces in brown or black next to each other in a neat row. This will be the bottom part of the "frame" of your television. Place 2 1-inch square pieces in bright blue directly in the middle of those three pieces. Press all the pieces firmly in place so that you hear a definite "click" sound when the pieces join.

Stack two 1-inch bright blue squares directly on top of the blue pieces that you just connected. Make sure that they click firmly into place. Press a 1-inch long and half-inch-wide piece that matches the color of the frame of your television on either side of the two blue pieces you just installed.

Press down three1-inch pieces in a row on top of all the blue and brown or black pieces you just installed. This is the configuration of your finished television. Hold it in your hand and press all the pieces firmly together, making sure you have tightly connected the pieces.

Tips & Warnings
If you want a big-screen television, you can increase the length, height and width of your television simply by adding more blocks to the frame and screen.
