How to Cut Single-Roll Masking Tape
Tape has many uses, and several types are available. Masking tape is one of the common tapes used in households. One of the common uses of masking tape is during painting to avoid getting paint where you don't want it. Cut the tape from the single roll so it is the appropriate length for the project and so that the cutting item does not cut the objects behind the tape. Does this Spark an idea?

Pull the tape and stick the edge to the beginning of the area that requires tape. Masking tape is commonly used during painting, but it can be used on windows, doors and other objects.

2
Unroll the tape until it reaches the appropriate length. For areas that require large pieces of tape, stick it to the object while unrolling to avoid tangling the tape. For areas with less tape, unroll it and then stick it to the object.

Cut the tape, using scissors when the tape is not being stuck down beforehand, in which case the scissors are placed against the tape and cut through it. If the tape is stuck, a knife should be used instead by dragging the knife away from the body and across the tape until the end comes free.
