How to Save Web Pages & Websites for Offline Viewing
For people using dial-up, slow or limited Internet connections, saving a web page for offline viewing is very useful. Just by pressing a few buttons you can read your favorite news article, story or advice column without having to log on to the Internet. When you do this, everything on the website, including the text, the images, audio files and video will be saved on to your computer.

Tips & Warnings
If you use a browser that isn't Internet Explorer you can make pages available offline by going to "File > Save As" and saving the page in a folder on your desktop.
Making a web page available offline saves the images and text to your computer. If you do not want other people to see what you have been looking at, for example, if it is the page showing a present you are buying someone, do not save for offline viewing.
