How to Clean a Poplar Infrared Sauna

How to Clean a Poplar Infrared Sauna thumbnail
Cleaning your sauna regularly is important for keeping you healthy.

A traditional sauna is a well-insulated wood room with a wood-burning or electric heat source. Rocks are placed on and around the heat source, and water is poured on the rocks to create steam. Infrared saunas, on the other hand, use an infrared heat source absorbed directly by the body. Saunas are used for relaxation and detoxification purposes, and if you are lucky enough to have one at your home, you probably use it often. You can choose a sauna made from many different types of wood, such as cedar or hemlock, but these soft woods create phenol scents that can be toxic. Does this Spark an idea?
