How to Invite Contacts to Windows Live Messenger

Windows Live Messengers is an instant messaging tool that allows you to converse among your friends, family and colleagues. When you sign up for Windows Live Messenger it can automatically add anyone who uses Windows Live Messenger from your email contacts book. However, you can also invite people who do not use the service, through an invitation wizard on the instant messaging program.

Instructions

1. Log on to your Windows Live Messenger with your email address and password.

2. Select “Contacts” from the top menu.

3. Type the person’s email address into the “Instant Messaging Address” box. Fill in the person’s mobile number if you want to stay in contact that way as well.

4. Click “Next” and Windows Live Messenger will send an invitation to the contact.
