How to Become a Google AdWords Reseller
Google AdWords Authorized Resellers manage advertising campaigns for businesses. Resellers are third-party companies, such as yellow page publishers or newspaper companies. Depending on your experience and testing abilities, you might qualify to become an authorized reseller, too.

Gain experience working with local businesses in any capacity. Previous sales or account management experience will help you excel as a Google advertising reseller.

Own a “fully-equipped technology platform.” Meeting this requirement includes that you have all of the necessary hardware and software you will need to become an online advertising reseller. While Google does not specify the exact equipment you will need prior to beginning Google training courses, it is safe to assume that you will need a computer, standard business software and Internet access.

Participate in reseller training courses of interest through the Google Learning Center. Preparing for Google's two required exams includes gaining an understanding of advertising fundamentals and studying a specialty area. Your training options for the second examination are search advertising, display advertising or reporting and analysis.

Complete the Google Advertising Fundamentals Exam.

Pass Google’s Search Advertising Advanced Exam, Display Advertising Exam or Reporting And Analysis Advanced Exam.

You must pass Google reseller exams in order to receive Google’s endorsement.
Google’s training courses prepare you to pass the certifying examination.
The cost of each exam is $50.
Google AdWords Authorized Resellers must re-certify every two years.
