How to Upload iMovie Videos
Apple's iMovie program allows you to create professional quality videos for free, complete with soundtracks, a title and credits, and special effects. Once you finish creating and editing your video, you can upload it online to share with everyone from within iMovie. In order to upload your video, you need a YouTube account, which is free and easy to do by clicking "Create Account" on the YouTube main page, then entering a username and creating a password.

Open iMovie and select the video you want to upload in the Project Library window on the left.

Go to "Share" in the toolbar and click "YouTube."

Choose your username from the "Account" drop-down box. Enter your password. Choose a category from the drop-down box, then enter a title, description and tags for your video. Click "Mobile" next to "Size to publish," then click "Next."

Read the YouTube terms of service, then click "Publish." If your video is large, it may take a few minutes. When iMovie indicates the upload is complete, go to your YouTube page in your Internet browser and view your video.

Tips & Warnings
Videos on YouTube cannot exceed 2 GB in size and 10 minutes in length. For longer videos, break the video up into two or more shorter videos, then add "Part 1" and "Part 2" in the title.
