How to Store Data on a Media Card for a BlackBerry
MicroSD and microSDHC media cards fit inside Blackberry smart phones from the Pearl 8100 and later. The Blackberry should immediately recognize a media card and store data onto it upon insertion into the device. However, if your Blackberry is not storing media on the media card right away, you may need to change some settings.
Instructions

Insert the Media Card

Press the Blackberry's back cover button and slide the back cover open.

Slide the battery to the side to unlock it and remove the battery.

Locate the media card flap with the word "Lock" and two arrows.

Slide the media card slot to the left and lift open.

Slide the media card into the flap so that the media card contacts will touch the Blackberry contacts upon closing.

Close the flap, reinsert the battery and slide the back cover back on.
Turn on Media Card Support

On the main menu, click "Options," "Memory" and "Media Card Support."

Change the "Media Card Support" option to "On."

Click "Menu" and "Save."
Enable Mass Storage Mode

On the main menu, click "Options" and "Memory."

Click "Mass Storage Mode Support" and choose "On."

Tips & Warnings
Media card insertion may differ depending on the type of Blackberry you have. Always check the owner's manual that came with your Blackberry for proper installation. Never force any parts to move if they are not moving readily.
