How to Do a Bunny Hop in Counter-Strike
Bunny hopping is a term used to describe a technique of jumping that has been used for years in various first-person shooter games such as "Counter-Strike." Bunny hopping causes your character to accelerate far faster than it would normally be able to do, because of a slight glitch in the physics engine used by these computer games. Performing a bunny hop successfully takes lots of practice.

1
Assign your scroll wheel button as your jump button through the options menu of "Counter-Strike." Having an easily accessible jump button is paramount in pulling off the bunny hop trick.
-
2
Hold the forward key and begin running. Jump once and, before you land, remove your finger from the forward key and do not press it again.
-
-
3
Press either left or right strafe and simultaneously sweep your mouse in a small arc, about 30 degrees, in the same direction as your strafe: If you strafe to the right, sweep your mouse slightly to the right. You must strafe while you are in the air. Just before you hit the ground, press the jump button again. If your timing is correct, you will jump again and pick up speed.
-
4
Press the strafe button opposite of the one you pressed previously. If you strafed to the right at first, now you must strafe to the left. Make sure that you sweep your mouse in a small arc in the same direction that you are strafing. Just as you are touching down, press the jump button again.
-
5
Repeat this process, alternating between strafing left and right, making sure to sweep the mouse in the same direction that you are strafing. If this is done correctly, you will be going much faster than you would normally--the result of a successfully bunny hop.
