How to Upload Videos Fast

Share your videos fast by uploading them online.

Creating and sharing videos online is useful for personal and professional use. You can share your videos with anyone on the Internet by uploading them to YouTube. With a YouTube account, which is free to register for and simply requires email confirmation, you can upload your videos online fast and either set them to private for select users, or make them public for everyone online to view, comment on and share with their friends.

Instructions

1. Go to YouTube and click "Log In." Enter your username and password that you received when you registered.

2. Click "Upload," which is at the top right side of the homepage. Click "Upload video" when the new screen opens.

3. Select your video from the window that opens to highlight it, then click "Select."

4. Fill out the form with your video's title. If desired, enter a description, tags and category in the appropriate boxes.

5. Click "Upload video" and wait for your video to upload, which is usually a minute or longer depending on the size of the file. View your video on your YouTube page when loading is complete.

Tips & Warnings

• Videos on YouTube cannot be uploaded if they are larger than 2 GB or longer than 10 minutes.
